I think it’s a problem when your only tested method and example is a dead person and using demon magic, and then they also can’t naturally process the fact that they died.
Oh not denying it seems like a bad idea. Just saying of the listed problems all but one came from the fact she was dead. As for the last one no need to trick him into using his magic. Still far from ideal but the known problems are addressed.
Can we get a link to that storyline please? diving through the archive for a specific story arc is hard when they arent labelled and you cant remember what date the storyline took place in.
He used to have this organized with an easily searched archive but the changes to the server (One absolutely necessary and an emergency and this one which is good to have a back up) has caused the archive system to be lost to the ages. The tags also only go back to when the newest version of the site came back online. What I’m fairly certain of is that arc was wayyyyyy in the beginning of the series in its first or second year as one of its first story arcs.

The lack of labels or chapters or any sort of organization in the archive hurts my Lawful soul but it’s manageable.

Well the solution here is to control a android body through the VR setup. That way he remains fleshy, but can have access to the cybernetic aspects.
